Comments are due by August 24, 2020
Comments received by August 24, 2020 will be considered for the more public draft in September 2020. Comments received after August 24 will be considered either during the public comment period, or for the 2021 update. (See below for more information.)
Why are you sending this out during a pandemic? What if I don’t have time right now?
Unfortunately this publication is also happening during a global crisis. We have no way of knowing the current workloads and availability of interested parties. In order to prevent yet another delay in publishing, a draft will be published shortly and opened for 30 days of public comment, and then the final version will be published this year.
In order to not shortchange those affected by the pandemic, plans that were published during the COVID-19 crisis will be reopened for comment and republished in 2021. In the meantime, the 2020 version of the plans will be available for spills and tested during drills, and comments will be collected for the 2021 version.
